During 2013, China Mobile Communications Corp. will start with the biggest 4G LTE network in China. This will also be the largest LTE network around the world. The network will be covering more than 100 cities or 500 million people.
At this moment, China mobile is having trails of TD-LTE networks in 13 major Chinese cities. The first TD-LTE commercial network from China Mobile was launched in Hong Kong.
The high-end mobile phones are supporting the TD-LTE standard. Companies, such as LG Electronics, HTC Corp, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and ZTE Corp have partnered with China Mobile to launch four models of TD-LTE smartphones. During the official announcement, the chairman said they would also focus on low- and mid-end mobile phones to enter the market. In this ways, the customers will have more choices.
