GlobalFortune 500 companies in Chengdu

According to figures released by Chengdu Investment Promotion Commission, Chengdu has attracted 366 major investment projects in 2012, with a total investment of RMB 65.5 billion. By December 2012, Chengdu has attracted a total of 229 Global Fortune 500 companies (173 overseas companies and 56 domestic companies). During the first half of this year, Chengdu has successfully introduced 21 Global 500-led investment projects with a total investment of RMB 49.28 billion. Compared to the same period last year, this represents an increase of 8 projects and an investment growth of RMB 28.5 billion.
